Brenda Jenkins
My name is Brenda Jenkins, and I’m proud to be part of The MPJ Real Estate Group. I’ve been in the real estate industry for over 39 years, and my journey has given me invaluable experience in both residential and commercial real estate.
I started my career in 1986 as the first female property manager for the RCMP, overseeing their 21-acre headquarters — an experience that shaped my work ethic and passion for this field. It was also during this time that I met my husband, Al, who has been by my side ever since. From there, I moved into the private sector with Royal LePage and Royal Trust, and later took on leasing and tenant relations with a development company.
After our son Nicholas was born, I shifted my focus to residential real estate so I could balance my career with raising a family. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working as the leasing agent for the City of Maple Ridge for over a decade, helping develop RE/MAX’s property management division, and eventually finding my home with Macdonald Realty — where I plan to finish my career.
Working alongside Bruce and Ava has been one of the greatest joys of my career. Our team truly feels like family, and I love sharing the lessons I’ve learned to help them grow and succeed.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me cooking, baking, volunteering with the Meadow Ridge Rotary Club, or enjoying time with my family — especially my granddaughter, who keeps me busy with “gramma duties” at a moment’s notice.
My goal has always been to support my clients and my team with honesty, dedication, and care. I look forward to passing on my knowledge and seeing the next generation of Realtors thrive!
